Writing about your life can be a daunting task. Where to begin? This class will prime the pump, with weekly writing assignments (about 750 words) presented in themes, plus writing tips. By reading your stories aloud to your classmates, you’ll come to see your life through a different lens and leave a priceless legacy for your family. All sharing is confidential. (Class size is limited to 10 students.)

Instructor: Teru Lundsten

Teru Lundsten has been teaching memoir writing in Skagit County since 2010. As a freelance journalist she wrote over 200 profiles of people, which led to working as a personal historian. Her memoir, Samurai Daughter, will be published in November.
